WELBOT
Welbot was created to combat the ill effects of our sedentary computer bound working practices. Our goal is to assist businesses in reducing employee stress and fatigue, help manage musculoskeletal issues and improve general health and wellbeing through positive behaviour change. These daily actions and interactions lead to improved mental health, higher levels of engagement, reduced absenteeism and increased productivity.
Welbot is proven to help prevent and manage these issues through regular notifications that appear on your computer, nudging you to do 1 to 3 minutes of activities that will improve your physical and mental wellbeing. Both employer and employees benefit from these early intervention techniques which lead to better performance, improved wellbeing and increased productivity.
EVIDENCE BASED INTERVENTIONS
Our product was developed with academic and professional input and in collaboration with industry specialists conducting research into developing therapeutic and digital intervention solutions around managing the risks of sedentary and remote working practices.
The University of Strathclyde conducted a study that explored the effect of the Welbot platform on sedentary behaviour and mental wellbeing. The results of the study showed that participants experienced significant improvements to their mental health, with reduced Depression, Anxiety and Stress scores.
